Ryan Bedingfield has been involved in the cleaning industry for the past 26 years. He trained as a carpet and upholstery restoration technician in London, before setting up his own trauma cleanup business in 1989. Bio-hazardous waste removal from trauma scenes requires skilled operation and stringent Health and Safety procedures which have always played a big part in Ryan's business. This course has been designed with Health and Safety in mind at all times and leaves no stones unturned. Ryan is a qualified trainer and assessor for the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) and holds a qualification in infection control.

John Field has over 10 years experience in the cleaning industry and is the Health and Safety Advisor for direct training services. John has worked very closely with Ryan and Gary Bedingfield in developing this course and is also a trainer and assessor for BICSc. As a founder of direct training services, John is at the forefront of all development in our courses and is constantly reviewing all Health and Safety procedures.

Mick Kaye has worked alongside Ryan and John for the past 3 years and plays an important role in all course development. Also a qualified trainer and assessor with BICSc,  Mick's background is in electrical engineering, allowing him to give valuable input to all machine safe use and care procedures.

Gary Bedingfield has been involved in the training industry for 12 years as a college lecturer, further education trainer/assessor and training consultant. Holding a teaching qualification in FE and with a background in IT, he has designed, developed and co-ordinated training programmes for many organisations in England and Scotland. Gary is the training     co-ordinator for dts and holds relevant qualifications in Health & Safety and infection control.
